Who we are

We are a group of over 145 active women who enjoy attending a variety of meetings offered each month to discuss issues relating to literature, politics, travel, arts and antiques, film, music, education, gender pay equity, and much more.  Each of our members holds a two- or four-year college or university degree or a higher degree from a qualified institution and shares our mission to promote equity for all women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.

North Shore Branch members hail from numerous communities on Long Island, including Albertson, Carle Place, East Meadow, East Williston, Floral Park, Garden City, Glen Cove, Great Neck, Greenvale, Jericho, Manhasset, Mineola, New Hyde Park, Old Brookville, Old Bethpage, Oyster Bay, Plandome, Port Washington, Roslyn, and Westbury, and several sections of Queens, such as Bayside, Douglaston, Flushing, Forest Hills, Jamaica, Little Neck, Rego Park, and Whitestone.
